Medical Equipment and Supplies of America President and CEO Jeff Cleveland and his partner Geoff Fraser were named “Central Florida Humanitarians” by Space Coast Medicine and Active Living Magazine.
The two business associates were recognized for their support of many charitable endeavors, including the Scott Center for Autism Treatment at Florida Tech.
Jeff Cleveland has served on the board of directors for the Scott Center for two years, following the lead of his father-in-law, who was involved in its founding in 2009. In addition to financially supporting the Scott Center, Jeff Cleveland and Geoff Fraser also sponsored therapy and paid speech and occupational therapists to work with the center’s clients. This was accomplished through Clear Choice Health Care, another of their companies that is a Melbourne-based health-care management company.
The Scott Center is a not-for-profit organization that provides children, youth and families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders a full range of evaluation and services, from diagnosis to intensive treatment. The center addresses behavioral and psychological issues related to autism and provides a training component for Florida Tech’s School of Psychology for the Applied Behavior Analysis and Clinical graduate programs.
The two humanitarians have also supported numerous other organizations, including the March of Dimes, South Brevard Sharing Center, Club Esteem and Junior League.
